Ξενοδοχείο που ήταν παλιά κάστρο

Το κάστρο χτίστηκε αρχικά από κάποιον λόρδο με μια τάφρο και γερά οχυρώματα ολόγυρά του. Τον 16ο αιώνα, το κάστρο καταστράφηκε σε μια φωτιά, αλλά σύντομα ξαναχτίστηκε όπως ακριβώς ήτανε και πριν. Διάφοροι κόμηδες και βαρώνοι έζησαν στο κάστρο ανά τους αιώνες, και ένας από αυτούς το ανακαίνισε τον 19ο αιώνα σύμφωνα με το γοτθικό στιλ της εποχής, ένα στιλ που διατηρεί μέχρι και σήμερα. Το μεγαλύτερο διάστημα του 20ου αιώνα, το κάστρο φιλοξενούσε εργάτες ορυχείων, ενώ έπειτα από μια εκτενή ανακαίνιση που τελείωσε το 1999, μετατράπηκε στο ξενοδοχείο που είναι σήμερα.
